ABOUT
Youth Dance Ensemble’s winter concert takes place in early December. This is a wonderful opportunity to get young dancers acclimated to the stage in an informal setting. Upper-level dancers showcase some of the work they have learned during the summer and fall. We keep this show short, less than an hour! We keep costumes simple-we have some costumes in our collection for use; otherwise, we will “come up” with costumes appropriate for the dance (i.e. party dresses, jeans, black pants, a scarf etc). Following the performance, our annual silent auction and coffee/dessert bar takes place. This is a great time to visit with family and friends and bid on such fantastic prizes as MN Twins box seat tickets, travel, theater tickets/special packages, treats, and holiday gift baskets. All proceeds benefit YDE programming. Following the Silent Auction dance families are invited to attend Youth Dance Ensemble’s Nutcracker Story Ballet.
