The Onstage
Musical and Dance Project

In collaboration with ISD 191 Community Education, Youth Dance Ensemble has directed the ONSTAGE MUSICAL AND DANCE PROJECT since 2019.  During this exciting after school activity, participants learn to sing, dance, and act with professional Teaching Artists. Over the course of four weeks, students from Gideon Pond in grades 3-5 get to experience the fun of an “audition,” play games, make costumes, learn and memorize lines, sing songs, and learn amazing dances, ending with a featured role in original works of musical theater by C.E. Title.

Directed by Bekah Berry with music direction by Charlie Title, "OFF THE WALL" was performed on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29TH, 2021 at GIDEON POND ELEMENTARY with a cast of 28 3rd-5th graders. Off the Wall was presented with funding through the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council.
The Onstage Musical and Dance Project helps Youth Dance Ensemble fulfill its mission of enriching our community by sharing the impact of the performing arts. Read more about our MISSION and PARTNERSHIP with ISD 191 Community Education here.
