OUR NEW STUDIO

Studio Gardens Front of Studio Back of Studio

Located conveniently near 35W and Hwy 13 in Burnsville, our studio is easily accessible from anywhere in the south metro area. Click Find Us for maps and driving instructions.

A proper dance floor is essential for injury prevention. Linoleum, tile or concrete are extremely hard surfaces for dance. Our studio has a specially sprung dance floor and is used for all dance classes.

MAILBOXES:
To ensure ALL students receive ALL newsletters, we have adopted a new mailbox system for proper communication. Each student will receive all newsletters, statements, and messages through this system. While students can obtain mail from their box, we ask parents to be ultimately responsible for this communication. Siblings will share a box.
PARENTS IN THE CLASSROOM:
We encourage the opportunity for parents to observe their children in the studio while class is taking place. Parents can then share the dance experience, assist with dance retention at home and can monitor their child's progress. Parents are asked to refrain from talking during class, so that the instructor may direct all attention to the students. Please do not allow any siblings on the dance floor AT ANY TIME during class.
ATTENDANCE:
PLEASE CALL AND TELL US IF YOU WILL BE MISSING FROM CLASS. We really count on you being there each week. If you feel you can not make a big commitment to class, please consider the technique only classes. You will still get the joy of dance but you will not have to worry about the performance commitment.

NO STUDENT WILL BE EXCUSED FROM DRESS REHEARSAL OR RECITAL WITHOUT PROVIDING SIX WEEKS PRIOR NOTIFICATION.

VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY:
In Class: We welcome videotaping on a limited basis to aid in the retention of choreography. Please have instuctor's approval PRIOR to videotaping and/or photographing class.

At Outreach Performances: Depending on our location, we may be asked that no cameras or video equipment be used in order to respect patients, residents and/or performers. We will deal with this issue on an individual basis. NEW: Our staff will notify performers and parents when cameras and video equipment are NOT allowed.

At Winterfest and Dress Rehearsal: For dancer's safety, please do not take flash pictures while students are performing. The best time for pictures is before or after the performances. We permit personal videotaping during these shows; however, those who wish to videotape will need to register prior to the event with our office. We will ask each videographer to wear identification, verifying they are authorized. We will question those who are taping without identification.

At Spring Recital: VIDEO CAMERAS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT THE SPRING RECITAL. We will always make professional videos available for a nominal fee.

TUITION INFORMATION:
Please review your brochure for tuition rates and due dates or click here for Registration Info. All tuition payments are due in advance of the session and must be paid on time. A $10 late fee will be applied to tuition more than 2 weeks past due. Past due statements will be placed in student mailboxes this year. NO statements will be mailed. ALL lessons must be paid for whether taken or not. Make-up classes are available in most levels. Please notify us prior to attending a make-up class. The movie night may also be used for make-up classes.
FOOD AND DRINK:
Because of bacteria concerns in sitting plastic bottles, we will no longer keep a water cooler. Please bring a water bottle with you to class and keep it in your dance bag. No water bottles will be allowed on the dance floor. You may also use the ice cold drinking fountain next to the bathrooms. You can hydrate yourself BEFORE or AFTER class. No gum, food, or drink permitted in the studio.
